How to keep burlap from fraying

I found a genius idea via Pinterest! Someone was making a burlap “flower,” and they said not to sew it… but to use a hot glue gun! Genius, right?!

I recently decided to try it on some of my projects, expecting it to “be too good to be true.” …BUT IT WORKED!

So, whether you are making burlap napkin rings, silverware cozies, or any burlap accents… I have three magic words for you:

HOT GLUE GUN!

Glue around the edges to keep the burlap from fraying apart, or glue 2 pieces of burlap together for a strong hold.
